About
Rock Nelson
My journey began in a small southern city with conservative views of what was acceptable. The role I played within my home and community growing up was made more difficult by religious messages that told me I was not OK—that how I felt about myself and who I was attracted to was wrong and needed to be corrected. Compounded by periods of societal discrimination, the restrictions around finding out who I was and growing my potential led me to move to a large city with a progressive views and more open communities.
Through my personal journey, I have found my place and personal peace. I feel called to help others who find themselves feeling judged, out of place, or out of alignment with the expectations of others. My commitment is to use therapeutic skills along with experience and empathy to assist each client wherever he or she is. You will find with me a safe nonjudgmental space to assess your current reality while envisioning and creating a future of your making.
